This package might be the right one for you if your bike has been unused for a while. For example, if your bicycle has been in storage for few months, this package will cover all your needs to make sure your bicycle is ready for the season. 

Alternatively, if you use your bicycle infrequently or lightly, this package will cover the procedures to make sure it keeps running smoothly.

I recommend this package every couple of months if you are a recreational rider and more often if you put your bicycle through high weekly mileage and rougher conditions like rain and mud. 

Procedures involved:

• Cable replacement: Cables have a limited lifetime; they stretch over time, affecting your shifting and brake crispness. 
• Hydraulic brake bleeding: Hydraulic brakes are fantastic! However, just like the cables, it is necessary to bleed them and replace the oil, so they stay reliable and crisp!
• Disk cleaning: Disk brakes need to be cleaned to be effective. Sometimes, some impurities on the pads of the disk itself can affect your braking. That screeching noise you hear when you pull the lever… that’s your disk screaming for help!
• Headset servicing: Your headset must be in top condition to remain reliable and snappy in tricky situations. The grease protects the component from corrosion but also attracts dirt. Removing the old dirty oil and repacking it with fresh grease will preserve the component and reduce the wear.  
• Bike wash and polish: A bicycle also needs a shower when it’s dirty and stinky! Not only it will look nice, but it is necessary to do it regularly to keep your components clean, to ensure they work properly and do not let you down.
